I’m Alicia Staley Johnson a Naperville / Chicago area Family, High School Senior, Newborn, and Headshots Photographer, and it’s my joy to invite you into my world of photography — a world where moments are preserved, and stories are told through the lens. My passion for capturing the beauty of life began long before I picked up a camera.It all started when I was in fifth grade. My teacher, Mr. John Beehler, offered us a choice: a photography class at a local studio or horseback riding lessons. While all the other girls in class chose the latter, I felt a pull toward the camera. And from that moment, I was hooked. I spent countless hours exploring the magic of light, experimenting with different techniques, and learning to freeze fleeting moments into memories that would last a lifetime.What draws me to photography is the power it holds to evoke emotion — to capture those quiet, tender moments that tell a much deeper story. Whether it's the joy of new parents with their baby, the pride of a teen ready to graduate, or the anticipation of a mother-to-be, each photograph is a moment in time that I’m honored to hold onto forever.Though I specialize in portrait, fine art, and travel photography, I’m always open to exploring new creative challenges.
