I have been a licensed esthetician since 2016 and am the owner of Maria’s Spa and Beauty in Cedar Rapids. I became an Esthetician with the hope and dream of becoming self-sufficient. I am proud to say that since then, I have successfully begun and grown a small business that has now flourished into a luxurious day spa. I have had an ardent passion for skincare since I was young because of my struggle with acne growing up. Once I found the most opportune timing, I embarked on my esthetician’s journey by going to school to learn proper skincare techniques and treatments. Even in the years after my schooling, I attend a multitude of additional seminars and conventions to expand my knowledge and skillset in new, innovative beauty treatments. One of the most rewarding aspects of this career has been the immense difference I have been able to make in the lives of others: their confidence level, physical well-being, and overall happiness. My goal is to continue to grow in my knowledge, experience, and skillset not only with regards to skincare but also, in different body and wellness treatments. My hard work continues to pay off as my clients receive the most highly researched and practiced techniques possible, along with, service that brings nothing but smiles.
